Santa on the Fire Truck

The men and women of the Northfield Fire Volunteer Fire Co., are proud to announce our longstanding tradition of bringing Santa to town on our Fire Trucks. This tradition has been in place since at least the 1940's.

Due to Covid 19, there are some notable changes for 2020. The traditional Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa visit, hosted in conjunction with City of Northfield Volunteer Fire Company #1 Ladies Auxiliary has been CANCELED for 2020. Unfortunately, all house visits with Santa have also been CANCELED.

Santa WILL GO around town this year with the following changes. Santa will tour the town on 2 nights instead of one this year, this will allow Santa to go SLOWER through your neighborhood.

North of Mill Road will occur Friday December 11th with a rain date of the 18th.

South of Mill Road will be Saturday December 12th with a rain date of the 19th.

Covid-19 restrictions will be in place similar to the first ever Bunny Run this Spring. We must ask that you distance from our apparatus, and keep social distancing guidelines in place with neighbors.
