INTERNET CLASS FOR BEGINNERS AT THE NORTHFIELD PUBLIC LIBRARY
At 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18th, the Northfield Public Library is hosting a free "Internet for Beginners" class. Learn how to search and use the Internet in 30 minutes or less, even if you've never operated a computer before!
Discover what you can find and do on the Internet, how to search for what you need quickly and accurately, and how to use an Internet browser to view Web pages. The Internet can literally put the world at your fingertips; it's very easy to use once you know how. Learn how to renew your car registration online, get state and federal income tax forms, view current news and weather reports, find custom-made street maps for any U.S. location, and buy any book, whether it's in or out of print. Our 50-inch widescreen monitor display will make it easy for everyone to see and understand how it's done.
The Northfield Public Library offers high-speed Internet access at no charge on its desktop computers. If you're computer-challenged, this short class will enable you to make the best use of the Library's computer resources in short order.
The Internet Class is free, but seating is limited to the first 45 participants to arrive. For more information about the Internet Class, call the Northfield Public Library at 646-4476.
