NORTHFIELD-LINWOOD SEWER INTERLOCAL MEETING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that there will be a meeting of the Northfield-Linwood Joint Sewerage Committee to discuss the 2012 Interlocal Agreement. The meeting will be held Monday, February 27, 2012 at 5:00 PM in Council Chambers, Northfield City Hall, 1600 Shore Road, Northfield, New Jersey.

This notice is being given pursuant to the terms of the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6.

NORTHFIELD FREE RABIES CLINIC
Northfield's annual FREE rabies clinic has been confirmed for Saturday, March 10th, from 9am to 11am at the City Hall Fire Station, located at 1600 Shore Road.

License fees payable at time of vaccination are $7 if spayed or neutered, $10 if not.

All animals must be on leash or in suitable pet carrier.

YARD WASTE COLLECTION UPDATE
As of February 1, 2012, the City of Northfield will be collecting yard waste from private residences on your regular trash day. This schedule will remain in effect until further notice, and any changes will be communicated on this site, as well as via email blast to those who have signed up for this service.

WEBSITES WITH HELPFUL INFORMATION FOR VETERANS
Below is a link to web-sites that provide information on Veterans benefits and how to file/ask for them. Accordingly, there are many sites that explain how to obtain books, military/medical records, information and how to appeal a denied claim with the VA. Please pass this information on to every Veteran you know. Nearly 100% of this information is free and available for all veterans, the only catch is: you have to ask for it, because they won't tell you about a specific benefit unless you ask for it. You need to know what questions to ask so the right doors open for you -- and then be ready to have an advocate who is willing to work with and for you, stay in the process, and press for your rights and your best interests.
