ROAD WORK - JUNIPER DRIVE

The City of Northfield has contracted with South State, Inc. of Bridgeton, NJ to reconstruct the roadway on Juniper Drive from Cedar Bridge Road to Mill Road. DeBlasio & Associates, P.C., the City’s Engineer, will be providing construction management services for this project. South State, Inc. anticipates starting the work on Thursday October 9, 2025 and completing work on November 14th, 2025. We are requesting that residents and student parents refrain from parking on the street when the work is occurring. The street will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic during working hours of 9 A.M. to 5 P.M., Monday through Friday. Residents of Juniper Drive are encouraged to park along Forrest Drive, Cedar Bridge Road or Juniper Drive from Mill Road to Zion Road. Similarly, parents picking up or dropping off students are encouraged to park along Juniper Drive from Mill Road to Zion Road. Cedar Bridge Road may serve as an alternative route for parents, however due to Cedar Bridge Road turning into a one-way street, we ask parents to be aware of the potential traffic congestion that may occur along this route. We understand that this work may provide a brief inconvenience, however it is necessary so that the City can provide you with the best improvements possible.
