The City of Northfield seeks to fill the position of Deputy Tax Collector to perform routine clerical and data processing work in the Tax Office, and to serve as Deputy Registrar of Vital Statistics. 35 HOURS PER WEEK. Two years experience in work related to accounting, general office practices and data processing, and excellent customer service skills required. Must have experience with accurately processing financial transactions, and posses a working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures and systems. Must have ability to perform arithmetic computations accurately and quickly, and be able to work under pressure and or with frequent interruptions. Salary range $28,974.40-$60k, based on experience. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY - PART TIME
City of Northfield is seeking a part time Housing Inspection Officer. Duties include administration and enforcement of terms and provisions of the City of Northfield Rental Registration Regulations, assistance with the enforcement of the City of Northfield Municipal Code, and laws promulgated by the NJ Division of Fire Safety, as related to rentals and resales of residential property. NJ DFS Fire Certification Required. One to two days per week. Salary range $16.00 to 35.00 per hour. Use link provided for job description.
